At around 8:45 into this podcast, you claim to be the first ever to calculate inter-agreement percentages among the Justices of the state supreme court. You should familiarize yourself with prior literature on the Court, because a lot of great work has been done that predates websites and Google. In particular, take a look at the valuable research of the late Charles Sheldon. Find a copy of "A Century of Judging" -- you'll discover inter-agreement tables going back to 1903, along with a wealth of other information.
You'll be finding more information by and about Charles Sheldon on our own website (http://templeofjustice.org/about/contributors/), as part of our ongoing relationship with WSU.
Great point, Jeff. I believe ours is the only rate of agreement analysis for the current panel of justices, but I'd forgotten about Sheldon's work on the topic. By the way -- great website. You'll notice we added you to our sidebar a few weeks ago.
I didn't notice the new link -- it's much appreciated. Our site still has about another 6 months or so of "construction" and content preparation to do, but we decided it would still be of use/interest to people as we're building it.
I enjoy reading your site too, and the podcasts are a nice touch. Cheers.
